FoxWeb

FoxWeb is a web platform for Marist University faculty and staff who want to create, manage, and optimize static HTML websites. It supports hand-coded HTML and CSS files, but does not allow server-side scripting (such as PHP) or database connections. To manage your website remotely, you’ll need to connect to foxweb.marist.edu through the Marist VPN.

Who Can Request a FoxWeb Account?

FoxWeb accounts are available to Marist University faculty. Staff and students are not eligible to request access. Please file a ticket here to request access.

FoxWeb Availability and Support

  • Availability: FoxWeb is accessible 24/7.
  • System Status: Check my.marist.edu for any planned or unplanned outages.
  • Support Hours: Assistance is available Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • Technical Support: Please file a ticket here.

FoxWeb Acceptable Use Policy

FoxWeb is intended for non-course-related materials. Course content should be stored in Brightspace, Marist’s learning management system. The preferred use of FoxWeb is for research projects.

Please do not host:

  • Personal blogs or social media links
  • Family updates or lifestyle content
  • Political commentary, lobbying, or other non-academic materials

FoxWeb Content Retention Policy

Content hosted on foxweb.marist.edu remains available while your Marist account is active. When your account becomes inactive, all hosted files and pages will be permanently removed.
