Group Cooperation

 

Group works well together, sharing responsibilities equally. Equal contribution to the overall effort.

Group works well together, has minor conflicts and some members appear to do more of the work than others.

Group has noticeable problems working together. Group works more individually than cooperatively.

One or two people appear to be doing the work. Detrimental problems that hinder the effectiveness of the project.

 

Content of Presentation and guide book

Content is accurate and includes more than the required topics. Includes facts from outside sources and opinions/ideas from the group.

Content is just what is necessary. It is accurate but they do not go above and beyond the requirements.

Content for the most part is accurate but has minor flaws. Some of the requirements are missing.

Many flaws in accuracy and the absence of many of the specified requirements.

 

             

              Creativity

 

 

Presents material in a unique and captivating manner. Adds to the overall affect of the project. Attracts the attention of the viewer (pictures, diagrams, etc.)

Some creativity is shown but the majority is standard and not very appealing.

Creativity is attempted but does not add to the effectiveness of the project. In some cases it may even hurt it.

No creativity is shown or completely distracts from the message of the project. Project is basic.

 

 

Integration of Research

 

Research is shown clearly and sited. Integration is made smoothly and makes sense. It is obvious that the group had a good amount of research.

A good amount of research is done and is shown in the project. Isn’t always smoothly integrated into the presentation. Most research was sited.

Research was unclear and choppy. Citations were seldom used.

Minimal and unclear research. Few to no citations.

 

 

Quality of presentation

 

Group is well prepared and speaks clearly. They are enthusiastic and work together well. It keeps the audiences attention and delivers the material in an understandable manner.

Group is prepared but not fluent (reads from cards often, etc.). Some audience members seem interested and for the most part comprehensible.

Group is somewhat prepared but reads directly from note cards. Some information is confused and not clearly conveyed.

Completely unprepared, information is confusing and incoherent. Audience seems confused and uninterested.

 

Total
